◎ Introduction
“The king’s speech” is directed by Tom Muhuo Bo’s new work is a historical theme of the film. Tells the story of Queen Elizabeth II’s father, King George VI of the story. George VI is the man to give up the landscape beauty of Edward VIII’s brother, Edward abdicated, he reluctantly got into the king’s throne. However, George VI had a serious stutter, speech is very difficult, and even a few very simple words are stuttered not speak to. Fortunately, he met a speech therapist Leonard Mierlo grid, through a series of training they become friends, the king’s stuttering has been greatly improved, and then he delivered his famous Christmas message, inspired the then World War II British soldiers and civilians.
82 finalists in 2010′s Oscar winner George VI Kelinfeisi play, love Tim Burton – “Winslet was born in the British costume drama before the first Idol,” Helen Na Bo Han Carter, the embodiment of Queen Victoria, Oscar-winner Geoffrey Rush will play therapists. It appears that in the “Do not love the royal family,” “Shakespeare in Love” “Queen Elizabeth Biography,
” “The Queen”, the British royal family is expected to once again become of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and an Oscar darling.
September 20, 2010, “the king’s speech” won one fell swoop the 35th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) “Audience Choice Award.”
Finally, mention that, “the audience choice award” is a panoramic view of the Toronto Film Festival Screening Unit (GALA PRESENTATIONS) the only official awards. Looks like a layman, but in reality the academy members with similar goals of the Toronto fans had selected “Chariots of Fire,” “American Beauty”, “poor rich” and many other Oscar for best film, chosen over “Beautiful Life”, “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, “” Tsotsi “and ruled the year’s best foreign film front. In recent years, have also elected the “angel of Emily” (Best Foreign Language Film nomination), “Whale Rider” (Best Actress nomination), “Hotel Rwanda” (Actor and Supporting Actress nomination), “towers Murder” (winner nomination), “lost a good” (best supporting actress, adapted screenplay, and best film awards, including including a number of nominations). So it is not hard to understand why “The King’s speech,” received the award so weighty.
